As part of its efforts to promote recovery and transition toward sustainable development, MA’AKUM Developmental Foundation has launched operations at the Al-Taawon Health Center in Barhat – Jabal Habashi.

In coordination with the local authority and the Health Office in Taiz Governorate, Ma`akum developmental foundation MA’AKUM launched a project to improve healthcare and health services at Al-Ta’awun Health Center in the village of Barahat, Al-Maratiabah sub-district, Jabal Habashi District, Taiz Governorate.
The project aims to meet life-saving health needs for more than 10,000 people by providing essential healthcare services, supplying medical staff, medicines, laboratory solutions, and medical supplies, as well as enhancing the administrative and financial performance of the center. This ensures the sustainability and continuity of services for the local community.
The ceremony was attended by:

• Dr. Ahmed Abdu Saeed – Director of Health Office in the District.
• Dr. Abdulhamid Al-Yousfi – Head of Ma’akum Developmental Foundation
• Mr. Yasser Al-Ashari – Health Sector Coordinator at the Foundation
• Eng. Abdulaziz Al-Mikhlafi –MEAL
• In addition to a number of sheikhs, dignitaries, and prominent figures from the area.
This project is an extension of Ma’akum Developmental Foundation’s efforts to promote sustainable health development in the community and contribute to recovery in affected and remote areas of Taiz Governorate.
