In order to enhance sustainable and income-generating livelihood opportunities, MAAKUM Foundation continues training and qualifying (50) women from vulnerable families. (20) of them are being trained in advanced sewing while the other (30) are being trained in food preparation, within the project “Strengthening Livelihood Opportunities for Vulnerable Families in Al-Qahera and Al-Mudhaffar Districts”, funded by the European Union (EU) in partnership with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC).
