The Director General of Jabal Habashi District, Mr. Yahya Ismail, alongside the Executive Director of Ma’akum Developmental Foundation MAAKUM, Mr. Yasser Al-Oshari, inaugurated today, Thursday, the Protection Project for Al-Mun’im – Al-Zajrah Road, following the completion of the installation of concrete barriers.

The project, funded by MAAKUM and implemented by Osus Engineering Office for Engineering Consultancy and Contracting, involved the construction of concrete protective barriers and retaining walls at the most hazardous curves in order to reduce fatalities resulting from traffic accidents.

During the inauguration, the Director General emphasized the vital importance of the project, noting that it will contribute to reducing accidents that previously resulted in deaths and injuries among residents of the district, as well as enhancing road safety.

Mr. Yahya Ismail commended the efforts and support of MAAKUM in improving infrastructure, addressing risks, and securing the road. He also praised the quality of the work executed by Osus Engineering Office for Engineering Consultancy and Contracting.

The inauguration was also attended by the Director General of Public Works, Eng. Tariq Al-Sufyani; the Director of Osus Engineering Office, Eng. Muadh Al-Haidari; the Projects Engineer at Ma’akum Developmental Foundation MAAKUM, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Mikhlafi; and the Director of the Endowments and Guidance Office, Judge Imad Al-Faqih.
