Official Tender Bid Opening Session for Cash Assistance Transfer Services to Beneficiaries in Mawza’a District

As part of the implementation of the Integrated Cash Assistance, Shelter, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Project, supporting internally displaced persons (IDPs) and other highly vulnerable populations in Mawza District, Taiz Governorate, funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF) and implemented by MA’AKUM Development Foundation (MA’AKUM), the Foundation successfully conducted the official bid opening session for the procurement of Cash Transfer Services.

The bid opening was carried out in accordance with MA’AKUM’s procurement policies and the applicable donor regulations, in the presence of representatives of the participating bidders and the Foundation’s procurement committee. The process reflects MA’AKUM’s continued commitment to the principles of transparency, fairness, accountability, and equal treatment throughout all stages of the procurement cycle.

Following the bid opening, a comprehensive technical and administrative evaluation will be undertaken to assess each submission against the eligibility requirements and evaluation criteria set out in the bidding documents. The contract will be awarded to the bidder offering the most responsive and compliant proposal, in full adherence to the Foundation’s procurement procedures and YHF requirements.

This procurement process forms a key component of MA’AKUM’s commitment to ensuring the timely, efficient, and accountable delivery of humanitarian cash assistance, enabling vulnerable households in remote communities of Mawza District to access life-saving support with dignity, transparency, and operational excellence.
