Ma’akum Developmental Foundation MAAKUM launched a medical project to perform tonsillectomy surgeries for 33 children in Taiz Governorate. This initiative is supported by Mercy Relief – UK as part of the Child Protection and Care Program.

The project is part of the Foundation’s humanitarian efforts to improve children’s health and alleviate suffering caused by chronic tonsilitis and its complications. This intervention aims to enhance their quality of life and ensure they enjoy better overall health.

The Foundation emphasized that this medical initiative is an extension of its ongoing health activities, which aim to support the most vulnerable groups and provide high-quality medical services to children in the most underserved areas of Taiz.
